The Keck Center for Science and Engineering is a groundbreaking building that aims to bring Chapman students together from different disciplines in order to facilitate collaborations that will produce future innovations to benefit the future. For the annual, commemorative poster, the aim is to bring together the Chapman community by bringing out the core values and enthusiasm for the new science building.
The ninth edition of the Chapman’s commemorative poster is based on the word SYNTHESIS. Not only does the sound of the word appeal to the ear but, the definition according to the dictionary is, “the combining of the constituent elements of separate material or abstract entities into a single or unified entity.” In an abstract way, students from different discipline will be integrated in a common place where sharing of ideas and collaboration will be possible to fuse “new discoveries.”
