The Latino Museum Mobile App Case Study:
I conducted research interviews and developed a beta-testing prototype app to evaluate the user experience and identify challenges encountered during its use. The user focus group confirmed our initial assumptions about the diverse types of patrons visiting the museum. It highlighted the need for the app to be inclusive and adaptable to patrons’ needs. Additionally, it revealed inefficiencies in the current navigation and wayfinding system. Both locals and tourists faced difficulties navigating through the galleries, and all users experienced issues with the outdated ticket purchasing system.
