Au Naturale is an organic pharmaceutical company specializing in pure, organic health supplements. The company manufactures natural vitamins and supplements for everyday use, with a primary customer base consisting of primary care doctors’ offices and visiting patients.
To better serve their customers, Au Naturale required an informational website and a mobile app. These platforms are designed to provide detailed information about the company, feature a health blog, showcase product reviews and benefits, and facilitate customer service interactions for product ordering. These digital resources aim to enhance customer engagement and streamline the ordering process.
High-Fidelity Prototypes
Au Naturale | Pure Medicinal Health Case Study:
Research interviews were conducted, and a beta-testing prototype app was created to evaluate the user experience and identify challenges. The user focus group confirmed initial assumptions about the diverse types of users. It revealed that the app needs to be more inclusive and adaptable to users’ needs, and that the current navigation is inefficient. Additionally, the products are not being effectively introduced to the target audience, which includes office staff and patients. There is significant room for improvement to make this channel a primary sales tool.
User Research
65% of the company’s revenue comes from doctor’s offices. They needed a website to inform consumers about their products and the benefits of using them. These specialized products are not available over-the-counter or via e-commerce. The only points of contact are through website requests or by calling customer service.

Wireframes & Low-Fidelity Prototype
Usability Study Findings
Conducted two rounds of usability studies. The findings from the first study guided the transition from wireframes to mockups. The second study, using a high-fidelity prototype, identified areas of the mockups that needed refinement.
